Hey there! I’m Iwona (pronounced Evona) and I’m a Photographer based in Cowichan Bay. I absolutely love capturing everything from I do’s to that gorgeous baby bump to those tiny toes, sleepy smiles, and all the sweet moments in between that make your life unique. I know how fast time flies and my goal is to freeze those precious moments so you can hold onto them forever.
I started my Photography Journey 12 years ago when my first daughter was born. Although I would follow my father around my whole childhood as we ventured out into nature with his big camera and lens taking snaps of beautiful wildlife which brought a calmness over me. After my first baby, there was this undeniable need to capture every precious moment, and fulfilling that for others has brought so much joy to my life. I am deeply passionate about what I do! I love chatting with my clients about the details of their session to ensure it’s exactly what they envision.
I started with capturing all the precious tiny details of Baby bumps and newborns and after perfecting that, I realized there was a piece to the puzzle that was missing. I wanted to capture the whole story, from the beginning and decided to offer my services for Weddings which has been extremely fulfilling. I’m a perfectionist and don’t take my work lightly. I will go above and beyond for my clients, and ensure your complete satisfaction.
Fun Facts: An optimist at heart, I am fun loving, glass half full, let’s make the most of it kinda gal. I’m not a morning person, and live off coffee. I love banter and witty remarks, but also have the biggest heart and will always offer my help to those who are struggling. I will tear up during tender moments as I’m capturing them, so don’t be surprised if you hear a sniffle or two.
